In California, Platts reports that after waiting for more than two weeks to offload ethanol in San Francisco, the Eco California mid-range tanker left for Los Angeles last Friday while as of the same day, the Sadah Silver was still sitting patiently in the San Francisco Bay to offload. Both vessels were carrying Brazilian ethanol but couldn’t offload in San Francisco due to the explosion at the NuStar Selby terminal on October 15 that led to force majeure.
