Malaysian palm oil prices seen recovering from last week’s dip

In Malaysia, the Edge Market reports that analysts believe palm oil’s slip last week was just a blip and will return again to three-year highs by mid-year. Increased demand for soy oil as the US-China trade war appears to be easing is expected to help raise prices among the entire vegetable oil complex, including palm oil. Typically palm oil prices are higher during the first half of the year compared to the second half, which analysts believe will be the case this year as well.
