Brazilian April biodiesel production sees more than 75% of feedstock coming from soy

In Brazil, BiodieselBR reports that soybean oil passed the 75% share in the raw material matrix of the Brazilian biodiesel industry for the first time in three and a half years. According to the new set of data released by the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), in April about 75.2% of biodiesel was manufactured from soy oil. The last time this barrier had been reached was in April 2017, when the percentage was set at 75%. A higher number than the current one has not been registered since October 2016.
