Provectus Algae secures $3.25M in VC funding for seed round

In Australia, AgFunder reports that Vectr Ventures together with Maropost Ventures have invested in Provectus Algae’s $3.25 million seed funding round. The company develops technology to increase the commercial viability of algae production, achieving 200% increase in productivity levels with its second prototype that was the result of two years of R&D and led to the successful investment round. Its “precision photosynthesis” solution uses AI, robotics and special lighting to boost production that in turn makes it economically viable.
