Corn growers and Ace Ethanol file antitrust suit against ADM for ethanol price fixing

In Illinois, Law.com reports that United Wisconsin Grain Producers, Ace Ethanol and a host of other corn producers in the region have filed an antitrust suit against Archer Daniel Midland in Illinois Central District Court alleging the company manipulated ethanol prices. Over the summer, Green Plains filed a similar suit against ADM in Nebraska but last month the company sought to have it combined with two other similar suits by Midwest Renewable Energy and AOT Holdings in Illinois under class action.
