Biden’s team meeting recently with biofuel groups and companies

In Washington, Reuters reports biofuels groups and companies including POET have held calls with President Elect-Biden’s transition team to discuss biofuel blending, including higher ethanol blends, and the next administration’s climate response plans. The groups have also had calls with the man nominated to be the next administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency. Biden has also nominated the former secretary of agriculture under President Obama who was a big supporter of biofuels, leading the industry to believe that the Biden Administration will be much more supportive than the Trump Administration has been.
