USDA and EIA to update reporting to boost renewable diesel data

In Washington, Reuters reports that in response to the increase interest in and demand for renewable diesel, the USDA is preparing to adjust its soy reporting in the World Agriculture Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report while the Energy Information Administration is going to adjust its reporting as well to include more detailed data on the fuel. The EIA is set to already boost its reporting on renewable diesel for January, due to be published the end of this month, and then the USDA will adjust its reporting which could be ready as soon as May.
