March 16, 2021 |

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports that the US Supreme Court has set April 27 as the day for oral arguments to be heard in the case of HollyFrontier Cheyenne Refining LLC v. Renewable Fuels Association. The case is the appeal brought by HollyFrontier and Wynnewood against the 10th Circuit Court’s decision regarding the way the Environmental Protection Agency awards small refinery exemptions under the Renewable Fuel Standard. The EPA under the Biden Administration has now sided with the RFA and the biofuel industry but the case will still be heard by the Supreme Court in any case.
