3. Ax the Wax!

We mentioned there were two companies out of the Huber lab on stage at ABLC today — the older of the two and far more commercially advanced is Anellotech, and here’s a WOW from CEO David Sudolsky, who confirmed that catalytic pyrolysis the Anellotech way is massively reducing the amount of waxes produced by pyrolysis, reducing the need for secondary processing and upgrading. They’ve axed the wax and as this slide demonstrates, the product set instead are high-value BTX molecules and olefins among other molecular groups.
