Biden under pressure to provide refiners relief from high RIN prices

In Washington, Reuters reports that although the Biden Administration has so far worked to roll back Trump era Small Refinery Exemptions to the delight of the ethanol industry, sources say the President is under pressure from Senators, especially those from Delaware, and labor unions to provide relief to refineries suffering from high RIN prices. RIN prices reached a whopping $2 last Thursday but have since eased. The two Democratic Senators from Delaware recently met with the Environmental Protection Agency administrator several times regarding RIN prices.
