June 28, 2021 |

In India, the India Times newspaper reports that the transportation minister has said that flex-fuel engines will be allowed into the Indian market to help boost ethanol consumption. The flex-fuel program will be rolled out in the next three months but there were no details about what the program would entail. Already local manufacturers make two-wheeled vehicles that can run on E100 but so far there are no four-wheeled vehicles manufactured domestically that can run on high levels of ethanol.
