Biden Administration seen backing SAF

In Washington, Reuters reports that the US may be the latest country to push sustainable aviation fuel with sources saying that the Biden Administration is in the early stages of discussions regarding a potential blending mandate by 2025. The White House wants aircraft to be completely weaned from fossil fuels by 2050. President Biden also wants the US to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 as well. Support for SAF is expected to come from the President’s Build Back Better plans.
