EIA expands non-ethanol biofuel reporting

In Washington, Hydrocarbon Processing reports that Energy Information Agency began reporting non-ethanol biofuel production, imports, feedstocks, and consumption data in its monthly energy review beginning in October. Data from before 2021 includes data sourced for EIA surveys and the Environmental Protection Agency to help fill gaps. Biodiesel feedstocks reported include refined vegetable oils, recycled cooking oils, and rendered animal fats. Data is included on renewable diesel, renewable jet fuel, renewable heating oil, renewable naphtha and gasoline, biobutanol, and other biofuels and biointermediates.
