November corn use for ethanol held steady while soybean crush fell

In Illinois, Brownfield Ag News reports USDA data shows corn use for ethanol rose less than 1% in November compared to October at 468.655 million bushels but it was 9% higher than November 2020. DDGS production rose 2% over October at 1,997,444 tons, 11% higher than the year prior. The soybean crush was a different story in November, however, with just 190 million bushels crushed, 7 million bushels less than in October and 1 million bushels less than in 2020.
