Biotalys’ protein-based biocontrol Evoca expected to receive EPA approval in 2022

In Belgium, Biotalys, an agricultural tech company protecting crops and food with protein-based biocontrol solutions, announced its business highlights and consolidated financial results for 2021 and an outlook for the remainder of 2022 which includes its 2021 IPO to expand the potential of the company’s AGROBODY Foundry platform, the planned launch of the first protein-based biocontrol Evoca on track for expected market calibration in the U.S. in 2022, and more.

A breakthrough increase in production level of Evoca’s active ingredient triggers adjustment of the company’s pipeline. Strategic partnerships with Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Biobest, Olon and Kwizda Agro also occurred in 2021. Year-end cash and cash equivalents amounted to €56.1 million.
