May 12, 2022 |

In India, Reuters reports that the country will achieve 10% ethanol blending by October which will turn make gasoline exempt of the 3 cents per liter green tax that is set to go into effect on the 1st of that month to help speed up blending. The government’s wide range of policies to support blending including a host of soft financing for sugarcane mills and stand-alone distillers to boost ethanol production capacity are all aimed at achieving 20% blending by 2025.
