bp to produce SAF and biodiesel at Perth refinery by 2025

In Australia, Reuters reports bp plans to produce sustainable aviation fuel in the country by 2025 following an investment of “hundreds of millions of dollars” to revamp its Perth refinery. Biodiesel will also be produced at the facility due to the strong presence of mining in the region that is reliant on diesel fuel, so the proposed refinery transition will be able to flip back and forth between SAF and biodiesel depending on market demand.
