Mumbai public transport to launch green hydrogen bus trial

In India, the Times of India newspaper reports that through a pilot project with the national transport ministry Mumbai’s BEST public transport company will convert 220 diesel buses to run on green hydrogen. The project was inspired by the national transport minister who is behind much of the country’s push towards renewable fuels. His personal car runs on green hydrogen, the country’s first fuel cell electric vehicle, which is said to travel 600km per tank.
