The Digest’s 2022 Multi-Slide Guide to electrochemically driven carbon dioxide separation

October 26, 2022 |

The objective of this project is to develop an electrochemically-driven CO2 separator (EDCS) with 155 kg/m2yr air capture at <5.4 GJ/t (1.5 MWh/t), to characterize PAP ionomer properties to support future Development, and to demonstrate EDCS module with 200 g/day removal and >0.4 CO2 captured per electron. Brian P. Setzler and Yushan Yan of the University of Delaware showed these slides at the National Energy Technology Laboratory’s Carbon Management Project Review Meeting in August.
