Former Bolivian president looks to Argentine biodiesel industry “with desire”

In Bolivia, the Clarín newspaper reports former Bolivian President Evo Morales said he has “a lot of desire” to implement the biodiesel industry in Bolivia with the transfer of Argentine technology, after being “surprised” with local knowledge.

“We are interested in sharing with businessmen, with authorities from Santa Fe and Argentina how to implement biodiesel in Bolivia,” Morales said, presenting himself with Argentine President Alberto Fernández at the National and Popular Book Fair in the province of Santa Faith (northeast).

Morales was surprised” and “impressed” by the Argentine biodiesel industry, after visiting the Double L Bioenergies plant in Santa Fe and talking with provincial political leaders about how to share experiences and transfer technology.
