ADM and plaintiffs agree on expert witness to evaluate model used to claim ethanol market manipulation

In Nebraska, DTN reports that Archer Daniels Williams as well as the plaintiffs in the case against the company alleging ethanol market manipulation have agreed to have a leading Michigan State University economics professor brought in as an expert witness to determine the validity of the regression analysis model developed on behalf of the plaintiffs that is key to the case. The model shows that ADM manipulated the market and the company sought to have the evidence thrown out, but the court rejected the motion in October.
