County approves $275M revenue bonds for Montana Renewables

In Montana, the Electric Great Falls reports Cascade County Commissioners have approved $275 million in revenue bonds to support the Calumet transition of its oil refinery to renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel, known as Montana Renewables. The commissioners decided in February to seek the bonds for the project. The transition has already been completed and is now in the start of phase with the first shipment of renewable diesel already sent out on Nov. 30.
