Cargo-partners completes first SAF shipment
In the UK, Air Cargo News reported that logistics company cargo-partner has completed its first shipment of SAF. According to the report, cargo-partner and Lufthansa handled their first SAF shipment directly from Vienna Airport earlier this month. The SAF shipment took off from Vienna Airport and landed at Dallas Fort Worth Airport in Texas the following day. The shipment was carried out on behalf of a customer from the cosmetics industry. Jo Feiks, corporate director product management air cargo at cargo-partner, said: “We are pleased to set this first important milestone for sustainable transport technology together with our long-standing partner Lufthansa.” “For both companies, it was the first shipment to depart from Vienna under SAF criteria. With this starting signal, we want to jointly pave the way for CO₂-neutral logistics,” the executive added.
