India to start developing ethanol pump policy

In India, the Business Standard newspaper reports the government is working on a policy to ensure that the ethanol fueling infrastructure for its E20 blending mandate is in place, in particular policy regarding ethanol pumps for flex-fuel vehicles now that they’re being rolled out. Scooters and rickshaws are already running on flex-fuel engines so can take higher blends. E20 will already start being rolled out in April with the mandate expected to be fully implemented in 2025/26.
