IOC to sign SAF MOU with LanzaJet

In India, Reuters reports Indian Oil Corp. will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with LanzaJet to upgrade ethanol produced from waste into sustainable aviation fuel at its Panipat refinery in northern India. LanzaJet has already helped IOC to convert waste into ethanol as part of a previous agreement. LanzaJet’s CEO says SAF production could already begin in the next two to three years. IOC is also in discussions with Snamprogetti to convert gas pipelines into hydrogen pipelines.
