PRIO supplies Norwegian Cruise Line with marine B30

In Portugal, after having taken the first step towards decarbonizing maritime transport in the Iberian Peninsula with the launch of ECO Bunkers B15, a green fuel for ships with 15% Biofuel incorporation, PRIO announced a new partnership, this time international and with a mixture richer in Biofuels (B30, 30% renewable base material). This historic milestone was achieved in conjunction with a global leader in the cruise industry – Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd, in collaboration with World Fuel Services. PRIO, one of the largest producers of sustainable biofuels from residual raw materials in Europe, reinforces its position now also at the forefront of the energy transition of the maritime sector in Portugal, establishing itself as the ideal partner for maritime fleets on the way for the decarbonization of the sector.
