AgTech OS to look for new biodiesel site following community opposition

In Washington state, AgTech OS Inc. has decided to seek an alternate location for their proposed biodiesel operation and will not occupy the site proposed by the Port of Whitman near US 195 and SW Old Wawawai Road in Pullman, WA. 

The Port of Whitman voted on March 2nd to move ahead with their plan despite strong opposition voiced by the community in an informational meeting held on March 1st. The Port has submitted a request to the City of Pullman to rezone the land from residential to Industrial Research Park (IRP) and commercial zoning to build an agriculture advancement campus with AgTech OS Inc. as a potential tenant.
