Ethanol production slips below 1M barrels per day

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production have eased below 1 million barrels per day to 997,000 barrels per day last week, the lowest level seen in 10 weeks. Stocks followed production lower, moving away from the nearly one year high it was at week prior to 26.188 million barrels. Blending demand was slightly higher on the week with an increase of 4% in gasoline volumes while crushing margins remain around break even.
