Poland published draft biogas flexibilization law

In Poland, CMS Law Now reports that earlier this month Poland published the draft of a new biogas law aimed at significantly boosting the conversion of agricultural waste into biogas. The draft Biogas Act includes measures intended to streamline siting and permitting of biogas plants, allowing biogas plants to be constructed on land zoned as agricultural as well. Biogas plants developed under the new law would be limited to 3.5MW and focused on providing value to agriculture.
