The Digest’s 2023 Multi-Slide Guide to Amyris

By engineering the genetics of yeast strains and fermenting them in sugarcane syrup, Amyris pioneered the ability to convert basic plant sugars to hydrocarbon molecules. To date, the company has successfully created and commercialized 13 sustainable ingredients that are used by hundreds of millions of people, in products made by more than 3,000 top global brands. In 2020, Amyris manufactured and sold more bio-based sustainable products from fermentation than all of the companies in the sector. Amyris SVP Paul Hill presented these slides at ABLC 2023.
