ePure says ethanol demand difficult to predict as EU countries fail to implement E10

In Belgium, Platts reports ePure says it is difficult to predict ethanol demand due to fluctuating ethanol blending policies around the European Union. Even though E10 has become available at fuel pumps across the EU, Spain and Italy haven’t yet introduced the higher blend despite the mandate to do so, creating a major market gap. As countries start looking to E20, countries that haven’t yet achieved E10 will have difficulty in doing so, ePure says.
