Diageo begins HVO trucking trial

In the UK, Insider reports Diageo has begun an HVO trial with Malcolm Logistics fueling 11 trucks running up to 100 loads daily between now and October from the company’s largest packaging plant globally in Leven. In addition to an expected reduction of 171 metric tons of CO2 during the trial period, the test will analyze performance and reliability of the fuel to inform about potential use. The companies claim the HVO used in the trial reduce CO2 emissions by 98% compared to fossil fuels.
