Green Bison soybean crushing facility set to begin operations in next few weeks

In North Dakota, the Dickenson Press newspaper reports the Green Bison soybean crushing facility is ready to move into the operational phase in the next few weeks following its $352 million conversion from a former malting plant, then owned by Cargill. The crushing facility, 75% owned by Archer Daniels Midland and 25% owned by Marathon Petroleum, is set to be online in time for the fall harvest to begin crushing in order to supply soy oil for the biodiesel industry and animal feed for livestock.
