Minnesota greenlights environmental review process for Summit carbon pipeline

In Minnesota, CBS News reports the state’s regulators greenlighted the continuance of the proposed and disputed Carbon Summit Solutions pipeline project, moving forward with the environmental review process, despite North Dakota’s regulators rejecting the company’s application for key permits last month. South Dakota regulators are set to begin their hearing process next month while Iowa is currently in the midst of a several week process whereas in Nebraska, regulation happens at county level instead of at state.
