EPA to decide on ethanol for SAF in December instead of September

In Washington, Reuters reports the Environmental Protection Agency will wait until December to make its decision on whether corn-based ethanol will be supported as a feedstock for sustainable aviation fuel instead of making the decision in September as expected. The White House is split on the issue, with the lead advisor on the issue said that the decision rests on sorting out the modeling that will ensure support for the policy from stakeholders on both sides of the aisle.
