Summit Agriculture Group’s CEO sees carbon pipeline delayed until early 2026

In Illinois, Bloomberg reports that Summit Agriculture Group’s CEO says that Summit Carbon Solutions’ proposed carbon pipeline project has been delayed until early 2026 rather than next year as originally planned. The project, similar to other carbon pipeline projects including the one promoted by Navigator CO2, has seen regulatory setbacks related to landowners refusing to allow access, pushing back against attempts at eminent domain and concerns about the safety of such pipelines that pass near to populated areas.
