Fermbox Bio and BBGI formalize JV for precision fermentation in Thailand and SE Asia

In India, Fermbox Bio and BBGI formalized a joint venture to establish cutting-edge precision fermentation facilities in Thailand and Southeast Asia.

Initially, these precision fermentation facilities will focus on enzyme production, expanding into innovative Synthetic Biology (Synbio) products for global customers with an expected total fermentation capacity of up to 1 million liters, equipped with the state of art up-stream and down-stream equipment with an estimated investment of $82 million in phases.

Fermbox Bio will contribute its expertise in synthetic biology and manufacturing processes, and BBGI will contribute its large-scale project execution, operational experience, and funding.
