Protium announces European expansion
In the UK, Protium announced the launch of Protium Green Solutions Europe – the first international expansion of Protium’s hydrogen service offering.
Protium Green Solutions will open an office in the Netherlands, developing renewables and installing the electrolyzers and infrastructure necessary to deliver decarbonized energy to industrial heat and transport users across the continent, the firm said.
Protium’s chief operating officer, Jack Eastwood, will lead the European office as managing director.
“Europe has strongly committed to supporting green hydrogen but still has a shortage of available gas to allow companies to achieve their net zero targets. We can bring our experience deploying assets and supplying green hydrogen to our customers to accelerate the transition. I am looking forward to leading the business on the continent and contributing to a European hydrogen economy,” the executive said.
