Indian government halts ethanol production from sugarcane juice but eyes boosting from corn

December 7, 2023 |

The corn would be purchased at the minimum standard price established by the government. Lower sugarcane production this season has forced the government to readjust ethanol production to ensure it continues to blend at 20%.
