January 4, 2024 |

In the UK, gasworld reported that American water treatment specialist Pentair has reported its findings having joined forces with Finnish measurement company Vaisala as part of a study to explore the sustainability of Pentair’s biogas upgrading plants in the Netherlands.

Pentair promotes the integration of biogas with existing infrastructure and has deployed a range of sustainable solutions including carbon dioxide (CO2) recovery plants and biogas upgrading systems.

“In our pursuit of sustainable progress, we believe in remaining vigilant and thorough, implementing careful controls to minimize revenue losses for our customers while ensuring that our biogas upgrading plants minimize methane slip during purification, making a positive contribution to the energy transition and sustainability goals,” said Machiel van Essen, NPD Project Manager – Technology at Pentair.

At its Pentair Haffmans site in Venlo, the Netherlands, Pentair manufactures analysis equipment for breweries, CO2 recovery installations and biogas upgrading systems.
