January 9, 2024 |

In the Netherlands, Bunkerspot reports that last week data from ENGINE showed that following the Dutch government’s decision to halve its rebate multiplier for marine biofuel sales from 0.80 to 0.40, prices in Rotterdam for B20-VLSFO and B30-VLSFO rose $50 and $80 per metric ton, respectively. Before the Jan. 1 implementation of the new policy, prices were $100 and $160 while B30-VLSFO is now around $700 per ton, up around $70.
