Gas stations in Kansas to expand availability of ethanol-blended fuels with $5 million grant

In Kansas, WIBW reported that three gas stations in Kansas are set to expand the availability of ethanol-blended fuels thanks to a $5 million grant.

The report stated that the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced that $5 million in grants is set to increase the availability of domestic biofuels in Kansas state.

The Department indicated that the announcement was part of a much larger national effort that included projects in 21 other states. Projects in Kansas include one in Topeka and another in Ottawa and Ellis, the report added.
