Verbio’s Nevada expansion possibilities brighten after land annexation

In Iowa, the Ames Tribune newspaper reports that Verbio’s plans to expand its Nevada, Iowa facility will move forward following the Iowa City Development Board’s decision to annex into the city the 74 acres the company previously purchased for the project. Beyond storage, the company hasn’t announced concrete plans for the new land that could include renewable energy production. The annexation of the land now guarantees it will have access to city services such as power, water and emergency services, when the time comes for the actual expansion.
