BioAdvance to open biofuels plant in Portugal

In Portugal, The Portugal News reported that an investment from BioAdvance is about to be opened in Figueira da Foz, which will start with a production of 20,000 tons of biofuels per year.

According to the report, the plant will increase its capacity to 200,000 tons per year in two or three years.

For this new factory, which will operate on a continuous basis, BioAdvance hired 36 people, of which 18 are highly qualified, the report added.

The plant will require an investment of $23.9 million.
