Ethanol production rises back above 1M gallons per day

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production rose above 1 million barrels per day last week to 1.033 million barrels a day, pushing stocks up by more than half a million gallons to 24.779 million gallons. With most ethanol producers back above the breakeven point and oil refiners buying ethanol more ethanol than the previous six weeks, the situation for producers is starting to brighten despite the stock build up.
