Pakistan’s largest biogas plant opens in Gujjar Colony

In Pakistan, The Express Tribune reported that the biggest biogas plant of Pakistan was inaugurated in Gujjar Colony. The compressed biogas plant has the capacity to produce 600 cubic meters of gas daily. As much as 1,600 kilograms of dung would be used in the biogas plant daily to produce 16,000kg of organic fertilizer, according to the report. The Parks and Horticultural Authority (PHA) and farmers can use the organic fertilizer produced by the plant, the report added.
