Global SAF market to reach value of $3 billion by 2044, research finds

In California, research firm PMI reported that the global sustainable aviation fuel market size is expected to reach a value of $3 billion by 2034, up from an expected value of $1.1 billion this year. According to the research firm, the global SAF market is forecast to expand at a CAGR of 11.60% during the period. “North America is estimated to witness a huge market growth as the SAF market in the region benefits from investments, partnerships, and collaboration among airlines, aircraft manufacturers, fuel producers, renewable energy companies, and government agencies. Industry consortia, research alliances, and public-private partnerships support research, development, and demonstration projects aimed at advancing sustainable aviation fuel technologies and scaling up production capacity,” PMI said.
