India’s Ministry of New & Renewable Energy launches green hydrogen pilot guidelines

In India, the Economic Times newspaper reports the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy has released the guidelines for green hydrogen pilots in buses, trucks and four-wheelers that will be undertaken by the Ministry of Road Transport. The green hydrogen guidelines allow for the fuel to be used in fuel cells as well as internal combustion engines. Part of the pilot project scheme will be to establish fueling and distribution infrastructure for green hydrogen as well as other innovative uses for the new fuel type.
