February 24, 2024 |

In Norway, energy company Gasum has opened its newest gas filling station in Kristiansand municipality marking a significant expansion of the company’s liquefied biogas (LBG) infrastructure in the country.

Gasum collaborated with Mjåvann Invest to open the new gas filling station, in which it offers both compressed and liquefied biogas. The station is open to corporate distributors and to the public.

Furthermore, Gasum plans to build additional filling stations later during 2024.

“The availability of biogas makes the area more attractive to everyone with some form of logistical needs. The green shift in the transport sector is moving ahead at full speed, which means this filling station is positive news for the entire southern region,” said Andre Kjetså, General Manager at Mjåvann Industripark AS.
