Raízen Fuels Finance enquiring about sustainability-linked bond sales

In Brazil, Bloomberg reports Raízen Fuels Finance recently enquired with some banks regarding sustainability-linked bond sales, allowing it to sell debt to fund ethanol projects, just a week after it said it is mulling investing in sustainable aviation fuels. The program has been in place internally since 2022. The company has announed a 5.3% offer on outstanding notes due 2027. Last November, the company landed a €300 million green loan led by BNP Paribas, amongst other international banks.
